Kyrsten Sinema 2024 - “One day after class, Kirsten came up to me and said, 'I want to be your friend.' And I said, 'Okay.'
They belonged to a group of bold, outspoken misfits, said Love, who were new to Arizona at the time.

Today, Love heads the board that directs Planned Parenthood's political operations here. He did not agree with how Sinema exercised his power in the Senate.
What Sinema's Party Switch Means For The Next Congress And 2024
Love is not alone. Other Arizona progressives are more than crazy. They asked Sinema to support Democratic causes that sent her to Washington to vote, or that they would work for her primary in 2024.
A small group of protesters chanted "Fight for us" on Camelback Road, where the cinema held a fundraiser last Saturday. A group called Living United for Change in Arizona, or LUCHA, helped organize the action.
A video on Twitter shows LUCHA facing cinema the next day, during a bathroom break during a class he teaches cinema at ASU.
In a statement, the cinema classified what happened as an illegal protest. She defended her position through concessions, such as a bipartisan infrastructure bill that she helped negotiate.
Kyrsten Sinema Approval Rating: The Arizona Senator Is Equally Unpopular With Everyone
Phoenix-based neuroscientist and mother Carrie Lifshitz voted for cinema when she was in the US House of Representatives and now in the Senate.
“I've had a few friends tell me, 'Just be careful. Be careful because it may not be exactly what you think,'' Lifshitz said.
An increasingly progressive Democrat by her faith and children, Lifshitz does not regret her vote as it helped her party win a majority in the Senate.
Lifshitz pointed to the cinema's opposition to restrictive reform and voted against a $15 minimum wage. At this point, she finds it hard to believe that she will support cinema again.
Wait, So Kyrsten Sinema Is The 'republican Candidate' For Senate In 2024?
"I think Kirsten Sinema is really an example of someone who turned around and became a rebel for no reason," said Suki Keita, an educated and progressive who has voted for Sinema several times.
"He always told us what he thought. You know, that's why we all admire and respect him," she said.
Keita said he would vote against Cinema in the primary. But I will still vote for cinema in general elections.
Democrats won the national election here in 2020. But the Republicans won everything in Arizona, said Chris Love, a friend from law school cinema.

“All I will say is that I know she has the ability to do the right things. It takes courage for her to deliver these things,” Love said.
It's too early to focus on the 2024 primary, Love said. She remembers complaints about the cinema years ago from groups like LUCHA.
“These complaints were not taken seriously by the larger party. And you know, people are like, 'Just get in line.' And it happens every time.
Love Means Cinema continues to receive support from local Democrats. But LUCHA and other groups have shown they can deliver results. She thinks the cinema is raising the funds that will be needed to ground the game in 2024 without local help.
