glock 19 33 round

Glock 19 33 Round - When I opened the plain, gray and white blister pack containing one magazine, I took the time to read the company on the back of the obscure blister pack. Most of the words were devoted to the history of Glock firearms. These quotes stood out:

A Glock 34, high capacity magazine, TruGlo shooting light and Gold Dot ammo are also a good combination.

Those are bold claims that no one—Glock fan or not—could argue with. I have often said that the Glock is the foundation of firearms. Its reliability has been established and is not available. Glock is undoubtedly reliable, and this is proven by dozens of military, police and institutional tests. If you spend less than a Glock, the question becomes, "What corners are being cut?" If you're paying more than a Glock, the question becomes, "What's the point?"

Proven Glock accessories include a Glock 33-round 9mm magazine. While the Glock 9mm has floor plates and ones that add a 19-round magazine, the 33-round magazine is the granddaddy of them all. This magazine is designed for use in the Glock 18, a fully automatic version of the Glock 17 9mm pistol. Unlike competitors and cheap imitations, the Glock magazine is equipped with a steel insert that contributes to both strength and feeding.

The magazine is well finished with good quality control. The base is strong enough to withstand multiple drops and provides good stability when performing speed loads. I own a few that have been missed during magazine changes and heavy training and they work great. The back of the magazine has proof holes marked 5-31.

Magazines provide a tactical advantage in home defense - especially if the firearm is a modern 9mm carbine, such as the Glock Magazine Compatible Kel-Tec Sub 2000. The balance does not fundamentally change the balance of the Glock 9mm. If anything, the piece is more stable when the magazine is inserted.

The magazine weighs 20 ounces with a 124 Grain ammo load. An efficient proper loading sequence for clips is to load three or four cartridges, tap the back of the magazine so that the cartridge case is fully against the back of the magazine, and continue loading the magazine. When loading a Glock magazine, there is strong spring pressure first, as it should be. Spam leaves are weak at first and harden.

Glock is tough and getting tougher. I can load the magazine up to about 29 rounds before I need the Blackhawk! magazine loader. Granted, the magazine loader makes it easier at first, but most of us - especially those younger than me - have a bit of trouble loading a whole magazine.

I tested the Glock 33 holster on several Glock pistols, shooting from an angle and even in a vertical position. The flag has never been fed and the pistols have never been fed, chambered, fired or ejected. The ammo used was Federal Syntech's 124 grain load - a new load that I found to be excellent for practice use. I practice a lot with the Glock and enjoy shooting these pistols.

The 33-round magazines were loaded for months and were fired even when fully loaded. If you want to use the traditional way of loading one or two rounds, this is good for long term use. However, I don't see the need for this magazine.

Glock 9mm 33 Round Factory Magazine

The 33-round magazine is balanced. It weighs about 20 ounces with a full 124 grain ammo.

I often keep this magazine ready in my Glock at home. Loaded with Speer Dot bullets, the 9mm long slide Glock, offering a 33-round load, is the perfect home defender. Few, if any of us, have time to grab a flashlight and an extra magazine when night alarms and home invasion teams come in pairs. The Glock 33-round magazine is a great option for home defense. It's also fun in the area and means a lot of exercise.
